Kids Behaviors provides in home ABA/BA therapy in Miami Dade and Broward Counties. Why do we provide services in home? To make it convenient to fit your family’s needs and work in your child’s natural environment. However, we don’t limit our sessions to only ABA at home, we also expand our home based ABA therapy to include other settings such as schools, communities and clinic. Home Based ABA therapy utilizes the principles of ABA to work on decreasing maladaptive behaviors but also increasing skills such as self-care, play, and communication skills.
ABA in schools and day care settings is delivered in the form of one to one sessions, teacher/staff training as well as shadowing services. School as well as daycare ABA therapy focuses on academic integration, social skills training and vocational development.
Another important generalization of us in home BA therapy services is to community settings. It is important for individuals to be highly integrated into society and it is imperative that we target realistic circumstances that may arise, therefore we focus on community skills such as; leisure, social skills, and safety skills. Whether you are going to grandmas’ house, shopping in your favorite store or going to the park there is always room for incidental learning.
